Creative writing and music provides me with a vehicle for insight and comfort like no other medium. As a writer, musician, and therapist, I endeavor to use every tool in my bag of tricks to help you attain a great understanding of yourself, and develop self-compassion. The results are two therapy groups: The Poetry Wheel, and Writing IN: Memoir as Healer
The Poetry Wheel Therapy Group
This therapy group uses poetry reading/writing as a tool to deepen one’s understanding of the past, the present and where we want to be. These gatherings are weekly and are arranged in groups of six meetings. No experience in creative writing is necessary to participate fully in this group. Participants are limited to current or past clients.

Writing IN: Memoir as Healer
This therapy group focuses on exploring a number of specific episodes from our lives, currrent or past. We consider the idea of what it means to remember, and how the act of recording our memories impacts who we are now. By innvoking one’s memory, we re-examine ourselves, create art from words, experiences andimagination.
These gatherings are weekly and are arranged in groups of six meetings. No experience in creative writing is necessary to participate fully in this group. Participants are limited to current or past clients.
